Before I purchased I heard the issues with the fabrics and finishes of the cabin. It sounded bad but not bad enough to change my mind about buying. So we are careful about the interior. Almost immediatly it became clear that the console cover is going to be the first thing to get really dirty. So we went to the mall and found a hand towel that was a pretty close color match. At first we thought it looks kinda funky, but after folding it just right to cover the lid, we are getting to like it. I have no doubt that it will pay off over the long haul. And it feels nice too. So I was thinking that someone, maybe me, could find a way to make them with elastic bands on the underside to hold them to the console better. Sounds like a product that might be useful to many of us. Any thoughts?
There are also these, which do use velcro but are very well made. They also make covers for the door arm rests and a MFD visor. PriusHoods [Broken External Image]:http://www.geocities.com/priushoodscreen/ebaycover3.jpg
