This morning I am the designated driver for my wife, who is scheduled for a tooth extraction. Unfortunately, a large piece of one of her molars broke off last week. It had received a substantial filling in the past, which undermined its structural integrity. The doctor, who'll be performing the removal, told my wife that he will need to break the tooth in half at the root. This convinced her that she does not want to be awake during the procedure. So I will make sure she is able to get home safely afterwards.
A Pedant Writes: According to my dentist friend, Paul, one does not "pull teeth" - teeth are "drawn"! (…so says a dentist!) BTW: Good luck with the extraction!
Our regular dentist said too much tooth broke off, and that he felt a crown would last only a couple of years with the remaining tooth. I would never say that... to her face. update: She is now home, comfy and asleep. She refused any pain medication, which I believe she will regret in due time. I'm here for her to ensure she has anything she needs.
Of course she's right Royal to you. Just not formally accepted by an existing Monarchy. No great loss in my opinion. Some say too much interbreeding!
