Hi - I just found this forum and I just need someone to stop me or tell me to go with it. I've been doing research on the Prius for about a week now (visiting dealers, looking on websites for pricing etc...). I've found out that most dealers won't let a Prius II (base) go for less than MSRP. Their main reason is due tot he Japan situation, and gas prices are going up so.. supply and demand. I also tried to go with the Costco price but they won't do that either, even after coming in the Fleet mgr showed me that the The Prius II is exempt. I finally found a dealer willing to do 750 over invoice, which totals to about 23,678 (Invoice 22928). That would be a total of 23,678 + TL for a Prius II (base). Go with it? Yay or Nay? I sort of need the car this week. Thanks!
be a while before prices come down. I waited a month to long in 2008 and got my 2010 last year when they were dealing at invoice and giving a rebate to boot. Not sure prices will retreat like they did for me, so if you like it go for it.
