2021 Prime, plugged in overnight to l2, when I looked this morning, the green charging light was still on. It is 0f this morning and the car sleeps outside. When I open the door I get a charging port open on the screen rather than fully charged or time to charge. The remote app says the battery is fully charged. Standing at the front of the car I can hear a quiet humming under the hood. Any idea what this is all about? It starts up fine.
The traction battery heater was operating. Nothing to worry about. The traction battery heater comes on to keep the traction battery warm in that low temp while the charging cable is connected. It uses charges from the traction battery for this function that gets replenished from the wall. This sometimes causes the completion a bit and you use more kWh from the wall.
