Question about frame damage...

    Hey, PCers.

    Was looking at a Prius today. As per usual, I ran the vin through the Toyota owner's site and the dealer history shows two rear end collisions in the car's history, both with frame damage and both with repairs after the crash made by a Toyota dealer.

    I know frame damage is bad... But is it still bad if it was repaired by the Toyota dealer?

    You would need to drive the car at highway speeds and see whether you notice any handling abnormalities.

    I personally would not buy a car that had been in two serious accidents.
