Having earned my grays, I know how to get the best deal on a vehicle. The hard part is finding a Dealer "Service Department" that has good Techs and Integrity. Not just parts changers and greedy service managers. Having never owned a Toyota, any local referals for best and worst in the Dallas Fort Worth TX area would be welcome.
goto a dealer that's closest to you. Goto the customer waiting room and check out their amenities. My local dealer has free krispy kream donuts, starbucks coffees, fountain sodas and candy bars (not the bite size ones you get from trick or treating, full size ones). Damn no wonder dealer repairs are so expensive. Talk to the customers who are waiting in the room for their experience at that dealer. If you like what you hear, there's your dealer. If you don't like what you hear, ask why. Then move on to the next dealer.
Thank you for the suggestion cproaudio. This tool may be used later, but there are 16 Dealers here. What I seek is Local referrals about Local Service Departments in the DFW area. I see Prius' everyday, and I'm sure some of you are in here.op2:
Sadly you are learning that the world is a big place. so few of us live in [any large city]. Worse, while you want DFW help, you did not put Dallas - Fort Worth in your title to attract the folks you want advice from. I recommend a title that asks what you want from where you want it. like: What is a good Toyota Service Department in the Dallas Fort Worth Area? That would attract the readers you want and discourage whiny folks like me.
