Rack and Pinion out...looking for Toyota Mech

    Anyone recommend a Mechanic here in Orange County?

    A co-worker has an 01 or 02. Dealer told her the Rack/pinion is out and wants $2500 to repair.

    I told her to get a 2nd opinon and find a Toyota Mechanic (not through a dealer).

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    See what the service department at Claremont Toyota says (not quite in Orange County). I found Eric Foster there to be very helpful.
