Perhaps @bisco might let us know about the rain showers?

Weather is NOT climate and of course has no relationship.

This morning reports were ~200,000 without power. I was just about to send an e-mail asking how is the power outage?

    bomb cyclone
looks like the coast got the brunt of it, up to 90mph gusts. a lot of trees down and power out. still blowing a gale, so numbers not fixed yet, but up 500,000 reported in new england.
metal roof ripped off of a hanger at logan airport, looks more like a tornado.

we have been fortunate so far. about 10 miles inland, power has not been disrupted locally. went for a walk, a lot of limbs down but no trees that we saw.

brand new kohler 12kw generator at the ready:cool:

I thought it seemed a bit rainier and windier than normal in NJ yesterday :)

No power outages in my area, but we did have a flash flood warning. My office was smartly built in a low-lying flood plain, so whenever we get serious rain, everyone at the office gets synchronized flash flood warnings via our phones. I've seen our back parking lot turn into a lake on several occasions.

If it could only blow 'man-made climate denial' out of some ...
