Raleigh, Cary, Apex area mechanic referal needed

    My son has a gen 3 with 220k and it needs a new engine per the dealer. Barely driveable. $8500 quote to rebuild.

    DIL has a 2013 Prius v with 112k and I know has never had the EGR cleaning done.

    Since their 15+ year old is going to be learning to drive once lessons can start they want to keep one of these cars.

    Anyone know of a great Raleigh/Cary/Apex independent? The batteries are fine, it is the ICEs they need work on.
