Hi guys, Random question time!!! I've been asked to put a Christening DVD together for some friends who had their daughter baptised last week. Can anyone give me some suggestions for some music/songs for the DVD? I can't think of any decent stuff. Even better if you could post a link to YouTube for said piece of music. It doesn't need to sound religious or anything, just nice and gentle? Martin
Yeah a week ago. I did the photography as well and am currently putting a DVD together so need music for that
Ahhhh, that makes a lot more sense. Something to complement the images and quick too, I suspect. A lot of new age music has subtle tones yet lets one mind do other things. I don't have any hard artists but would recommend using Internet radio to find the genre and listen until something comes around that meets your needs. While listening, work on the images and with a little luck, serendipity. Try: Ulrich Schnauss - "A Song About Hope" (5:55) from GoodbyJens Gad - "Les Eau Verts" (6:12) from Le Spa SoniqueBob McNally - "Ponchartraine" (5:50) from Spotted CowJens Gad - "The Miracle of Illusion" (3:36) from Le Spa SoniqueThe Verve - "Bitter Sweet Symphony (5:58) from Urban Hymns . . . has structure that if you have time could flash up the images with the musicBob McNally - "Southwinds" (3:23) from Spotted Cow also has structure I do not know where to look, perhaps a karaoke source with some ELO or REM tunes. They have a lot tunes that without lyrics could let the images supply the words. It might be seeing (not here of course) but seeing all the photos in thumb size, you might stumble across something that can tie them together. Ballads might also work: The Band - "Whispering Pines" (low volume)The Band - "The River Hymn" (4:42) . . . American South, has baptism theme GOOD LUCK! Bob Wilson ps (PriuS version) Ok Go - "This Too Shall Pass" (3:49) . . . composition
