Now that I'm runnning my A/C most of the time, I've noticed a rattling sound coming from the the A/C system when the fan is on the higher speed settings. It sounds like it's coming from the upper part of the dash near the windshield, but it's hard to tell. Any thoughts on what might be causing it? ('06 model, 2700 miles) - Doug
You might want to check out that the cabin air filter is properly seated (located behind the lower glove box). My dealership replaced mine a while back while I was in for an oil change and I later had a rattling noise with higher fan speeds. When I finally checked the filter, it was not set in the mounting bracket correctly.
