Almost nervous i am typing my first post on Priuschat, the site i have been reading for so long. Let me introduce myself: I am from the Netherlands, 48 years old, married, 2 kids and in daily life i am a manager. I am a real Toyota-lover. And the rest of my family followed in my footsteps. There is allready a Prius in the family, my father in law has a prius 2 and is very fond of the prius 3. I myself drive a Toyota Verso D-cat, 7 persons. My wife drives a Toyota Yaris. My sister bought a Prius 3 yesterday, Prius IV and in the color Abyss Grey (in the States it is called Wintergray). Because of my continuous reading here on Priuschat i knew more about the new Prius than her dealer or my own dealer. I am looking forward to be an active poster and like to thank all of you guys and girls for the amusement you gave me. For instance the first Prius in the states for "winebuff" or the special treatment you guys received form Toyota on the various carshows. I liked it a lot. It's a shame that i bought my Verso only a year ago, otherwise I think i would have ordered one myself. Thanks and we'll meet on the forum.
:welcome: Like you, I've learned a lot from the folks here. I'll look forward to your input too! I'm still waiting for my 1st Prius to arrive.
maybe you will get lucky and your non-prius will suffer a mysterious "accident" when nobody is in it and nobody is hurt but the insurance pays for it and then a prius gen 3 could be yours sooner! disclaimer - in no way shape or form am i advocating insurance fraud welcome to the forum - we are glad you are here
Welcome to the group. Your time for a Prius will come soon enough, perhaps with the Gen IV. Then the rest of us will envy you for your new Prius. Tom
Welcome to PC, come and join us in Freds House of Pancakes for a bit of fun. We are all friends there.
Welcome to the forum mate! It is always a pleasure to add more international members as long as they are not nutty Aussies.
My sister called me and said that her Prius will be delivered in 4 weeks. She asked me if i would like to go with her to pick it up and demonstrate all the technological goodies. Reluctantly i agreed Only problem might be my holidays, but we will wait and see. So i have to study here on Priuschat to know everything there is to know about pairing the Bluetooth-device, driving skills to achieve the greatest MPG, tinting the back-windows etc etc So you'll see me around here a lot. Now i have to convince my father in law to order his Prius 3, so i can do the same for him.
Sounds like something they would serve at Outback Steakhouse. Or should anyway. I've seen some hot waitresses there!
