Seems like a lot of effort for minimal gain. I purchased the Vled 6k and it is just as bright if not brighter than your modification at 600 lumens. Can you explain what exactly you are trying to do?
you're not careful, I live in Russia and very often necessary rear fog Fanari, and not to buy the lights from the European model I've done the above, thereby obtaining a combination of devices in a single device. take a closer look video
He's trying to incorporate a rear foglight without having to pay a taillight assembly from Toyota. In the reverse light area, he's added two more lights - taillight and rear foglight. Presumably, the taillight is just to increase the amount of red lighting in the rear but the foglight is meant for low visibility conditions and thus is brighter than typical taillights (and in some countries, must be turned off unless it is foggy or face a fine).

So sadly we inly have 1 reverse light, luckly my single one is replaced with a HID so is super bright! Like Japan it is legal to have a rear fog light and all cars have to have one, and always come stock with one built into a cluster or bumper light.
It's legal here (some cars have it but only a handful - 370Z, MINI and a few Audis and Volvos off the top of my head). Unfortunately, there's no law banning them during daylight hours where there's not a single cloud in the sky as I have followed Volvos with their rear fogs on on bright, sunny days.

Here EVERY car has a rear fog light, fronts it doesn't matter but a lot if cars have them as easier if mist or fog for oncoming drivers to see you. It is illegal to have rear fog or front fog on when there is no mist or fog so a police man can pull you over and fine you.
