rear seat seatbelt warning disable?

    Does anyone know how to disable the rear seat seatbelt alert? I have to drive around with the rear seatbelts plugged in just so I dont see the annoying 3-red seat belts on the dash. If they are unbuckled, I get the notice on the dash even if someone is not sitting back there and there is nothing on the seats.

    Does the same thing on my Venza but the lights go off after a minute or two. Might just be part of a software check.

    According to my dealer they can use their scan tool to disable for $49. It's the same price to disable one thing or any number of annoying issues so bring your list with you.
