Am I the only one who has a bit of a window warp in the bottom one inch of the rear window, right above the split? Through my rear view mirror, whatever is in that one inch area is a bit warped. I think the window may curve there, which would explain the warp. I don't remember seeing it on the test drive -- but I purchased the car in a different color than I test drove. Am really hoping this isn't a defect in the window! I just got my Prius on Monday -- this is going to take some getting used to...
I believe it's there, but never noticed. Considering the wide swath that is blocked by the split window anyways, I wouldn't think a bit of warp would make that much difference. It's not like your rear window is essential for driving. Once you're out of the parking lot/driveway, all you need it for is to know whether a cop is trying to get your attention.

Yes, it's there. It is designed to deflect radar waves, so they can't tell how fast you're going. Be sure that you're also wearing your tinfoil hat.
The new models come with warp nacelles? I might trade in sooner than I thought. Welcome to PriusChat, danichap. I hope you can put up with the teasing.
<_< The distortion is so slight that I haven't noticed it on either my former 2004 or my current 2008 Prius. A non-item in my opinion.
