rear wiper: does it lift up?

    Can the rear wiper lift off the glass like the front wipers do?

    Yes, spread the bottom ridges and push up. It'll flip out.

    spread the bottom edges of the COVER...LOL. Flip up the cover, then flip up the wiper arm.

    +1 on "lifting the cover." Well, partly. Where the heck is it?

    At least on the Gen II, there is a little cover on the top of the wiper drive
    axle that prevents the arm from lifting. I suspect it is the same on your car.

    The difference btwn the Gen 2 and the Gen 3 is that the Gen 2 is fully removeable and the Gen 3's cover is actuall hinged so you won't lose it.
