Someone sent a link to a kit that for $79 apparently shows you step by step how to fix the big battery. As I am not at work I don't have the link, but will post it later. I just finished plowing through all the suggested threads to read before posting here. Sounds like this not for faint of heart plus your Prius is out of business for at least 2-3 days while packs are re-balanced and installed etc.
spend your money on a few cycling chargers instead. There is a lot of information here if you look for it.
