    I got a recall notice in the mail from Toyota on the 2010 regarding the ABS. Dealership said they had no part yet for a fix :confused:

    Call again and ask to speak with a manager, that's absurd. Every dealership has had the fix (which is basically a cumputer update) now for several weeks...

    It's a firmware upgrade, there isn't any physical part involved.

    They must be out of bits. They probably have a bucket of zeros, but no ones. They could get some locally, but Toyota uses metric bits, which are practically impossible to find in the U.S.

    I talked to my dealer and he said that they had the 1s and 0s but were having a problem putting them in the right order. Either I could wait or he could give them to me as-is and I would have to arrange them myself.

    I think I'll wait.
