Possibly. To go above that takes fairly large hills or lots of stops in a short distance. I'm guessing you're in FL now? If you are used to driving it in the hills of Vermont, you'll see a big change in battery state of charge behavior down here in the swamp. Still I'd think it would go up in the green occasionally thanks to our perverted traffic light timing. I'd be more concerned if it was fluctuating quickly between purple and green. When that happens, it's time to get ready for a new traction battery.
how many miles on her? what had it been doing before that? if it is only recently, it's not normal, is it
I'd say not normal in winter ...our car is constantly in green in winter due to heater on, blue in summer with A/C on. Check 12v. Otherwise just see what happens.
