Hey all. I got those two warnings from the title yesterday. Have been doing lots of reading and basically learned that this is often the 12v battery or the coolant inverter pump. Tested the battery via the built in tester screen. Tested fine. Saw the coolant moving around after opening up the reservoir. So yeah it's neither of the issues I've seen mentioned over and over. I don't have a code reader and I'm scared to drive it somewhere, though it is running and I did manage to get it home two miles after getting the error messages. What should I be looking at next? Gen 2, 2009. 190k miles

You should use a scanner to read the trouble codes that the master warning light (red triangle) is trying to tell you about. There are over a hundred different trouble codes that can turn on that warning light. So buy yourself a scanner and stop guessing what the problem might be.

Read the thread below to learn about a few scanners that have been evaluated for use with a Gen 2 Prius. https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3290690
You want to choose a scanner that is capable of communicating with all the ECUs in the car like the Autel AP200.
