Only with the threat of 400K model 3 ($1,000 deposit holding) waitlist folks have traditional manufacturers felt "big numbers" heat. Those are yearly Camry #'s. Musk has already commented that ANY competition is good (& thus - his teeny spot in history is secure) and heck, if a "killer" does arrise? He'd likely be willing to meet the challenge. .
