apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but i did not see it in search... i got my safety connect id today, and have been trying to use the remote connect app... i keep getting a message that says that my account is now active, but "There are currently no vehicles linked to your account. You can add a vehicle to your account from the Toyota Owners portal." with a red "ADD VEHICLE" button... i have clicked on this numerous times, and my vehicle is there in the owner portal/app... but still no clear option to add it to the remote connect app... i juts spent a good hour + on the fone with toyota support, and they ended up saying that i had to be in the vehicle to connect... so i went out to my car, and still the same thing... any suggestions?
What model Prime do you have? If you have an Advanced (and possibly the Premium), I would try the Safety Connect button (overhead), and ask for help with your problem. Failing that, contact Toyota Corporate again, state your problem; if they don't provide a solution, ask to speak to a "supervisor ". Corporate rep helped me with my connection problem. Good luck! .
looks like the remote connect app is part of the entune 3.0, which is only for the 2018 Highlander. i am receiving notifications about charging status from the entune app suite...
