Do it, I did. Had my rear seats out for installing coil overs and decided to leave just the bottom cushion part in for months. Been bike riding more and just getting the seat dirty so too the entire rear out. Might take the passenger seat out this week for racing reasons too. Pics to come.
Actually found a penny and an old Johnny Bravo magnet!!! Might do some sound deadening spray on it. Covered the fuel filter plug wires in tape so my bike wouldn't hurt it. Has no negative effect on battery cooling. If anything it's allows for more air. Passenger seat will be next.

Well it's been like this for about a week now. Subs are in ther now too. If anything I may put the rear back so my passenger can really stretch out.haha
