Anyone have any idea how to remove the instrument plug to the left or right of the interior lamp dimmer to the left of the steering wheel? It doesn't appear to be a simple shallow blank that is easily pulled off with a thin screwdriver. Need to remove to place an LED lamp for my DRL. Thanks!

But I did mine where you mention and I believe it is just a pry-out blank. I had to do other modifications so I removed the whole panel, which I believe 2 screws underneath and just pull it out. But if you want to try prying off the blank, use plastic prying tool.
