Replaced the ABS Brake Booster Assembly but the Brake Lights Won't Turn Off

I replaced the ABS Brake Booster Assembly on my Prius C, but the Brake Lights won't turn off. I identified the issue that the brake pedal is not reaching the off button that gets activated when the brake pedal is not engaged.

Here is two videos with an example. The first video is with the brake pedal not connected to the booster assembly, and how far it is from being able to be connected for it to sit in its proper spot. The second video is with it connected to the booster assembly, and how it doesn't engage the brake lights button when the pedal is not being pressed.

The booster can't go any further and I am certain it was mounted correctly, since the bolts go on the inside of the car and not under the hood. But if I have to remount it, thats fine too.

Any guide in the right direction is appreciated.
