No experience but saying something is the "brightest temperature" at 6K is silly because any temperature can be the brightest if you have the most power behind it. My eyes prefer 3K or less... In general the closer you get to ultra-violet at 10K the closer you are to doing eye damage to yourself and others. Also the 6K and higher is very blue which is damaging to human sleep patterns, which is why they sell blue blocking glasses for computer work in the evening. Beyond all that, Prius HID ballast are expensive and have a high rate of failure. You can convert to Halogen or LED to eliminate that hassle...
