2012 Prius C I am in the process of swapping out the fan shroud and motor assembly with a used one from salvage. (LQK) Do I need to remove the front bumper or are there any special instructions to complete the repair? Thank you! Rob
Half-way through the process I'm realizing I might need to pull the radiator core to access the fan shrouding. Is there a better way? Rob
No direct experience, sorry. On lots of other recent japanese cars it is normal to remove the radiator and fan assembly as a unit.
Thank you Leadfoot. I am told by another forum member that it is a simple straight forward removal that Does Not require taking the front number off. I've hit a snag with removing the radiator hoses, (they seem stuck after 7 years of service). And wanted to pause and double check first. Rob
There's a little tool that can help with stubborn hose removal, looks kind of like a bent-over ice pick, so you can kind of go around under the edge of the hose with it, unstick it from the metal nipple.
