Does anyone know where to get the part-number for replacing the front low-beam fuse? It is a group of 3 fuses: 40A, 30A, 30A together in a plasticky thing with some very small print on the back: P6T-GR35. But searching for that part does not result in any hits. Do I have to pry/break that plastic group open and replace the individual fuses in there? Lastly, there are no spare 40A fuses in the fuse box - but there are 40A fuses in use. That seems like an oversight.
The Toyota part number for the 40 A-30 A-30 A fusible link is 90982-08308, as listed in Figure 84-01 in the Electronic Parts Catalog for your car. Ignore that the catalog says it’s no longer available. Any Toyota dealer should be able to get this part for you; the list price is $13.50, though some dealers sell it online for less. You might also consider the Bussmann equivalent part, MPF2-433X (PDF data sheet). The Toyota part may be a Yazaki 7327-6163, but those are difficult to buy in small quantities. The >P6T-GR35< marking is not a part number at all; it’s an identification code for the plastic material, so the part can be sorted for recycling when the car is dismantled. The three fuse elements inside the fuse are not individually replaceable. Perhaps Toyota determined, from repair and parts sales data, that nuisance blowing of the larger fuse sizes occurs so infrequently that the cost of providing spares with every vehicle isn’t justified.
