Replacing stereo in 2012 Gen 3

    I just purchased a 2012 Gen 3. It has the JBL sound system with nav and backup camera. I noticed that in the slightest of sun glare, you cannot see the screen on the radio.
    I would like to find out if anyone has replaced the JBL stereo with an aftermarket setup that has carplay/android auto and if so were you able to retain the steering settings and backup camera.
