Replacing the door

    Hey All
    I bought a complete (with intact wire harness) door to replace my drivers door. My question is how would I go about replacing the keyless entry and handle? Is the key detection part of the cars computer or is there something in the door I need to switch over? Im trying to make this easy as possible on myself.

    afaik, all the info is in the ecu. i would switch the whole door. if it doesn't work, you can switch the handles anytime

    I would swap over the door handle. For sure the physical key would incompatible, for starters.

    Just swap over the physical lock cylinder. That's easy. Besides that, a door's a door.
