We bought from Bob Bridge Toyota, in a suburb of Seattle. We had an incredibly easy, stress-free experience buying the car from there -- actually the best ever. We worked with John Stone and Jim Dawson.

We contacted the dealership over the internet this past Thursday. They were happy to work with us online, and over the phone, and were quick to respond to our inquires. We were looking specifically for a Seaside Pearl with Gray in a Package 3. They said had one due within four days. Without our asking, he told us the MSRP as well as the Invoice on the car, and then made us an offer. It was that quick and simple. We were happy with the offer which included the carpet mats, and rear bumper applique. Our name was entered into their system, just as if we had ordered the car and we were not asked for one cent, or to sign anything prior to the car arriving.

Just as promised, the shipment with our car arrived at the dealership four days later. On delivery, the paperwork was super quick. There was absolutely no monkey business or attempts to add on extra dealer charges of any type, no bogus fees, and no pressure whatsoever to purchase extended warranties. The car was perfect. The carpet mats were in, the car was spotless, perfectly prepped, and yes...the tank was full. The salesman went through everything in the car with us, and familiarized us with all the books, manuals, and smart key system. We were invited back at anytime to go through the car's features again. The entire process at the dealer took LESS than 2 hours, and honestly most of that time was learning the vehicle and asking questions.

Many of the people said that they have worked for there for many years, including our salesman. In my opinion this is an indication of a quality dealership. On a further note, I would say that everyone working there seemed happy, mellow, and honestly seemed to like each other! Definitely not like the dog-eat-dog dealerships that are so common.

We've bought many cars over the years from most the major manufacturers. This is the first time EVER that we have had ZERO problems or concerns. It could not have gone better. I would enthusiastically recommend Bob Bridge Toyota to anyone.

    Connie,

Congratulations! And Bob Bridge Toyota sounds terrific --- the direct opposite of my experience with two prominent Toyota dealerships in NYC. But I'm not surprised, given what I know of Seattle.

BTW, you should probably copy your post to your original thread "Buy today, or better deals in August". I'm sure the people there who gave you advice are interested in how things finally turned out for you.

Thanks Boo, okay, I'll let them know there too.

Sorry to hear that your NYC guys have a differnt attitude. We're actually looking forward to doing business in the future with Bob Bridge.
