Good Day All, Does anyone know if there is a used smartkey reprogrammer in the San Francisco area? I unwisely bought one on eBay and my dealer cannot reprogram it. I hate to pay the dealer $200.00 for the key plus programming but I might have to. Thanks, Liz
It's been posted here before that a used FOB cannot be programed for the car(actually you program the car to recognise the FOB. Use can use it in the slot to start the car but that's about it. The only way is to buy a new FOB from Toyota, as far as I know.
