A week ago I took the car over to NTB and had them check the alignment. This was the last item on my check list since purchasing the car 7 months ago. My average fuel economy has been about 40.1 - 40.3 mpg. After the adjustment, driving around for 250 miles, the indicated average has increased to 42.6 - 42.8. I don't understand the numbers surrounding alignments, but here are the results.

Thanks for That link. The tech said the alignment wasn't far off, The adjustment has made an immediate noticeable difference.. On my next Prius this will be tops of tje list instead of last.
An update. Over the next two gas tanks the fuel economy continues to improve. Indicated mpg has increased from 42.5 to 45(city driving). Perhaps the tires are being slightly reshaped with the new alignment?
I am the third owner, so I can't speak to previous repairs. When I purchased the car, I went down a laundry list a recommendation by the membership for minor tune-up. The wheel alignment was the last on my checklist.
