This may help someone. I found a way to retrieve messages from my home answering machine on a Prius equipped with the bluetooth built into the radio. I use one speed dial to call home and a second one programed with the answering machine code for new messages. Press off hook and speed dial for calling home. When answering machine picks up, press off hook again and select speed dial button with the answering machine code, then press off hook again. Code will be sent and you will hear your messages without being disconnected.
