Hi Friends, I finally went to the dealer this morning to have the dreaded reverse beep changed to one beep. Pulled up, told them what I needed, service man pulled my car forward, came out with a computer thingy, plugged it in, fixed it, done. Took all about 5 minutes. Didn't charge me a thing! While there, I took some pics of two cars. I think one is the Hydrogen Car.
They may not have charged anything, but they planted the seeds, soon you will have full-blown new car syndrome. I'm a tough guy, btw: put up with the reverse beep without even breaking a sweat.
that's just smart business. custom retention. why so many dealerships miss the forest for the trees, i'll never understand. they would rather have 50 bucks for this idiotic service, and lose thousands of dollars in loyalty.
Already feeling fuzzy in the head. And I keep uttering the words " Mirai" and "Prime". Need the wife to come home soon to bring me back to sanity!
Yeah, I thought that was funny. Also note the service magnet on the roof. Looks like its in for a lot.
I was at the San Francisco International Auto Show during Thanksgiving weekend, then the following week my mind was all Prime. Finally 1 evening my wife just yelled at me and I am now all cool LOL
