    Hi
I have just purchased a second hand Prius tspirit from a UK Toyota dealership and have had reversing sensors fitted.
When I reversed into the drive the noise of the Prius reverse bleep drowns out the reversing sensor bleeps! I can't think how a Toyota garage can fit these Toyota sensors and leave the dreaded bleep on to drown them out.
The garage is 50 miles from where I live and their response is to take the car to my local dealership which will charge me £ 50 !!!!

    What do you think

They probably didn't want to disable it because of "safety" concerns/liability. If you can find someone with a ScanGaugeII, you can do it yourself. There is a spreadsheet on Google with all the codes to enter.
