If I'm on a four-lane road and tailgated, I'll change lanes, especially at the base of a hill, so the tailgater can make their terribly important meeting . . . that they could not pass me normally. For example, this morning I'm headed into work, in the right lane, at 33 mph, post 35 mph. The following SUV was well short of three vehicle lengths. So approaching the base of the hill, I changed to the left lane and both SUVs, there were two, sped up to make the parking lot entrance just at the crest of the hill. I changed back to the right lane, made my turn on a cross street, and entered another entrance to the same parking lot, the upper section that is flat and has no speed bumps and plenty of shade parking. What I take away from this is that both parties had lost their cool. Who knows what games were going on prior to the video. Get everyone into self-driving cars, the sooner the better.
