Glad the trip went well for you. I call my '08 Prius the Minneapolis Shuttle-craft sometimes. I bought it in December of '07 because, at the time, gas was going up in price and I make semi-annual trips from western Montana to Minneapolis to visit my son and his family. Since that time I've made the trip 7 or 8 times, and several of those have been over the Christmas holidays. My drive is a 2600-2700 mile round trip each time. I've hit some real nasty weather on a few of those jaunts and the Prius has always handled them well. Happy trails.
