I just bought a 2014 v three with moon roof and need a solution for roof racks (only want to add the racks when transporting the kayaks). I have some Thule racks I took off my Mazda5 but don't think they will work (the bars) with the moon roof. The sale rep recommended vacuum suction. I guess foam pads would also be an option. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions. Thanks!
I can tell you that roof top carriers can be used with the European Prius+/v with panoramic roof. Here are photos from a Toyota Europe website.
My 2010 had a moonroof and carried 2 kayaks... Obviously, you can't open it then. But since the rack tower rest on the metal frame over the doors, it's basically a non-issue.
I know that there is a brand called a Yakima Rack which comes with steel head trays and I have a few friends that own cars with moon roofs, one of my friends owns a civic and they said they have never really had a problem using it on their moon roofs before so it might be something worth checking out at least.

I went on Yakima's website and they don't currently have a solution for a 2014 Prius with panoramic moon roof.
Delay with availability info is nothing new. Hopefully, it won't take too long. Yakima is what I have.
