When my '05 was new I had trouble telling when the ICE kicked on at low speeds. Also, when sitting at idle it was smooth as silk when the ICE turned off and on. Now there's quite a jolt when the engine starts along with engine noise I'd expect with a corolla. I don't much care about the noise but the jolt worries me. Is it a small deal or should I start looking at the Camry Hybrid? I'm at 90,000 mi and thinking about the 100,000 warranty looming. Thanks! Dave
Have you replaced the iridium spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body interior yet? If not I suggest that you have both procedures done, and you may find that your engine will run more smoothly.
i would jump on the hycam if that's what you're hoping for. roomy, smooth, quiet and efficient. we love ours for long trips.
