Hi there, browsing the internet I can't find an answer to this question. I have a Prius 2010 without NAV and I'd like to stream audio through bluetooth to the car speakers. Is it possible with an android phone (Acer Liquid with android 2.1 embedded) to use a specific app to do so? I guess the audio system supports bluetooth A2DP.
You could get the Bluetooth kits for the Prius ($200+ not including install), or you could plug into the AUX headset jack in the center console (you will need some special cable to get the mic jack - and only pass into the radio audio), or you can get a new/used head unit ($200-$900 depending on wheat you get and where you get it). Older model Pioneers (F900BT) support nav, and some are cracked to run after market stuff...
