Have a 2014 plug in model with 115,000 miles. Lately, but only occasionally when pressing the start button a sharp but audible rubber like noise can be heard for a brief second. It’s occurred 3 maybe 4 times in the last 3 weeks. From there, everything operates and sounds as it should. Just curious as to what it may be. Thanks, Ron
How does rubber sound? Like a squeaky toy? Does it happen literally on the start button or when the ice/engine kicks in? You should try to catch it on video and post it here.
