If I plug my telescope into the Prius' 12 v outlet, which draws 5 amps, and leave the car in READY mode, will the car start itself when needed to recharge the 12 v battery?
Would this be correct: in Ready mode (aka “fully on”), the 12 volt battery has little or no demand; the hybrid battery supplies the 12 volt needs, and the car’s engine turns on as needed (to recharge the hybrid battery).
