Running new usb extension to center console

I’m installing a new stereo in my 2015. The stereo has two usb connectors (rather than a usb/aux combo) and I’m trying to decide whether to install a new port or just use the existing usb without wiring the second one.

There are plenty of videos showing how to dismantle the dashboard but none on replacing the usb/aux extender to the center console. Anyone try to do this?
