City/State): Sunnyvale Toyota Timeframe given for delivery: 6 Months, and rising Color: Salsa Red Option Package: #6 (Used to be Option #9 in 2004 model) Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: 117 (as of 10/31) We plan to have the dealer add leather seats after it arrives, and we debated about the color. we had silver and blue as our top choices, but saw the red on the streets (looks more like a cranberry red than the 'arrest me' red swatch in the brocure) and decided we liked it the best. We got an update on the list when we changed our mind on color. They said we were #117, and they get about 15-20 a month, so that means 6 months. They had said 6 months in August, so I pointed out we were not really any closer to delivery. They said there now 185 people on their list, and they are hopefull Toyota starts cranking out more in the near future. It's kind of like the line at the DMV. You're not moving, but at least there is some satisfaction that the line has grown out the door behind you. I'll update on progress, assuming there is some.
