hi all so many people in this site using Scangauge 2 does anybody ever try to use Ultragauge yet? UltraGauge Automotive Information Center and OBDII Scan Tool V/r Khoi Nguyen
I do, it works for me. Matches the dash better, cheaper, larger display has many features that are useful. You can make your own default front display of your choosing. One Diego to another, grew up there! (Clairement Area)
I have the UltraGuage. I actually bought for my Odyssey but tried it out for awhile in the Prius. It does have a nicer display and is a bit less $. My gripes are that it doesn't read the fuel sender level, nor does it read battery state of charge and temp. If I'm wrong, hopefully someone can tell me how to correct it. Other than that, it was useful to monitor RPM and coolant temp. At some point, I'll probably try out the Torque app instead.
Fore It nice to know from previous San diego, how do you like VA?? weather is really nice here now, by the way Ultra scangauge as good as Scangauge 2 in your opinion? Mr stop what do you mean when it not read battery state of charge? you mean 12v battery? and what temp you talking about? is it inverter temp? V/r Khoi nguyen
The temp displayed is only the engine. It doesn't read the traction battery nor inverter temp to my knowledge.
Mrstop, Fore I really need only 4 function, I just want to making sure the Ultra Scangauge have those 4 function: 1. Temp for Invert cooland 2. Temp for radiator coolant 3. volt for 12v battery 4. RPM do you know Ultra have those 4 function? V/r Khoi Nguyen
