Do any of the ScanGauge users remove the ScanGauge from their vehicle when the vehicle is unoccupied? Is thef a concern similar to GPS units?
Morons could think it was valuable enough to steal. It's easy enough to disconnect (RJ45 just pops out) and is attached to the dash with velcro. I haven't bothered to remove mine. If you do remove it, when you plug it back in it has to reconnect to the car (engine must be running). And you have to press one button (Gauge). A lot of work!
