Hi all. Is there a scan tool that is able to replace the brake fluid of a gen II prius? Preferably not a high price tool. Thanks!
I think I got something. Not a scan tool but a procedure to bleed the brakes. Bleeding 05 Prius brakes the old fashion way | PriusChat
If you want to replace the brake fluid using the "old fashion way" will not do it. It may be capable of removing air in the areas of the wheel cylinders but it will not clean out the old fluid from the rest of the system shown in the diagram below. To flush the system effectively the Mini VCI is probably the best "cheapest" solution. John (Britprius)
The old fashion can't be used on the prius anyway. What the guy proposes on the link at my previous post is to actually use the system's pump without using the toyota scantool.
