First gen Scion xb uses the same engine. I'm wondering if some of it's performance mods are compatible with second gen prius' anyone know or try?
It runs a different cycle - the 1G xB uses the Otto cycle and the Prius uses an Atkinson cycle. It might be easier to just simply swap out the engine first before adding performance mods.
It's almost the same engine. The Scion xA and xB, as well as the Toyota Echo and early Yaris, use a 1NZ-FE engine. The 2G Prius uses a 1NZ-FXE engine.
