Last snowstorm, hubby put in 12" scratch down the side of my rear bumper. Took the paint off right down to the plastic. (He says the snowblower he was maneouvering made him do it.) Took it in to the Toyota dealership body shop and when I asked whether there'd be a colour difference in the new paint and the rest of the car, they told me that it's a special paint for the bumper, as it's flexible and that there is a slight colour difference normally and if I didn't notice it before, I wouldn't now. Who knew? Got it back last week, and they're right: can't tell the difference at all!
